There are many things that come against us in our lives that have the ability to make or break us. In spite of our misfortunes and challenges, many of us find a way to still remain strong while replacing the broken pieces of our hearts with love and compassion.

Suffering the harsh and sadistic effects of rape has left many women and men broken, confused, and neglected, and according to the Department of Justice, at least 300,000 people are raped every year, 54 percent of rapes go unreported, and 15 percent of sexual assault and rape victims are under the age of 12. 3 percent of men have been raped and 97 percent of rapists are never incarcerated. These are only a few of the facts pertaining to rape and sexual assault. Such a brutal and inhumane crime should never be tolerated and through courage, resilience, and an unbreakable soul, this beautiful brave woman sharing her real life testimony through poetry is proof that we are survivors and can use our voices and testimonies as an effective way to help others stand up for what is right!

"True Story" This angel face was once rape. This gorgeous doll has scrapes, and scars, this sweet lady is mainly upsetting. A girl who is lovely is likely to be disturb. This woman considers herself a treasure. Instead fearfulness neglects all her ambitions. Why is that?... Holding the crown sometimes, can tumble down. Being the woman you are. The girly girl you is. It won't obstruct dogs, with sharp teeth. Well known fact. I was the victim; the lovely lady with a gorgeous face; a light of my own testimony. I was the sweet angel who rape. The beautiful doll that fought.. ended up with scars. Yes.. can a caring soul be taken as violation? Yes once again. How about who is sweet, and loyal, ? Yes No matter the personality; no matter the character. Devils don't care. So So Bright
